Founded in 1989, NVISION is a world-class manufacturer of high-end signal processing and distribution equipment for television broadcasters and video production facilities. Their products can be found in most developed countries and in nearly every major network facility. The NVISION product line includes digital audio processing equipment as well as standard and high definition television routing and signal processing gear. NVISION was one of the first major companies to recognize and fill the need for serial digital audio equipment in television applications. We were approached in the mid-1990s and asked to assist NVISION with the development of instruction, service and operator's manuals for their extensive line of video and audio equipment. Cedar Ridge Systems, following NVISION'S corporate standards for the format of their manuals, independently produced a large number of these documents. To do this, we interfaced closely with NVISION engineers and marketing personnel to gather the necessary information. The work was completed in a timely and cost effective manner in our own facilities using Microsoft Publisher.
