In August of 1995, we were asked to assist WeatherPort staff with a small but serious problem with one of their weather system base stations. A weather station data integration module was emitting excess radio frequency noise (RFI) that interfered with other radio services. In just a few hours, we were able to provide a report that identified the causes and sources of the radiation and what was required to correct the problem.
